Javier Galitó-Cava is the Artistic Director of Meisner Technique Program Spain (meisner.es), an Acting Conservatory he founded after receiving his acting education at A.C.T (American Conservatory Theatre) and Rachael Adler Studio in San Francisco. His acting career gave him the opportunity to work with wonderful directors and actors mainly around the U.S. The core of his work revolves around the practice of listening deeply moment to moment. Javier’s spiritual work is rooted in the understanding of giving and receiving permission to simply be enough, which is the basis of the Artistic formation students receive at his Conservatory. He is married to Rev. Daniel Simons, a priest in the Episcopal Church and has learned to embrace Christianity while continuing his Buddhist practice. Javier travels constantly between Europe, United States and South America teaching his workshops to professional actors.
