Jay Cusker
Jay Cusker (he/him) moved to the Bay Area in 2004 and returned to school for a Masters in Psychology as a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Drama Therapy. At that time he met Kirk Prine and was blessed to become a member of the Flesh and Spirit Community. Through F&S Jay became involved in the drum circles and started the exploration of altered states of consciousness through shamanic journey work. Jay has served as a therapist with diverse populations and settings, community health, and as a school counselor in MT and WA. In 2020 Jay moved to Portland OR, working in community health and is currently in a group practice with Spectrum Counseling serving the LGBTQ Community and their family systems. Through years of experience as a therapist it became clear that traditional therapies and medications were not effectively beneficial to some clients, just as psilocybin therapy was becoming available for use in Oregon. Jay is completing a practicum with Ketamine and in April, 2023 will become Certified as a Psilocybin Facilitator.
